Carlos Sierra

Carlos-SierraCarlos Sierra is a regular speaker at Oracle Users Groups on topics related to Performance and SQL Tuning. He is the author of some legacy tools like SQLTXPLAIN and SQLHC; and of some modern ones like eDB360 and eSP. Carlos has almost 20 years of experience in Oracle databases, and many more on legacy UNISYS and IBM mainframes. Carlos currently works as a consultant for Accenture Enkitec Group, where he leads the Oracle database Health-Check team. His home is Seattle now, after 20 years in sunny Florida. Together with his wife, they have raised 4 responsible young adults, and now they enjoy the peace of an empty nest. Mauro Pagano

Mauro-PaganoMauro Pagano is a database performance engineer with special interest in SQL Tuning and Wrong Results. He is an active member of the Oracle community, always willing to help or mentor other peers, and he enjoys giving back developing tools and presenting at Oracle User Groups conferences; he is the author of SQLd360 tool and the previous maintainer of other legacy tools like SQLTXPLAIN and SQLHC. David Kurtz

dmkDavid has worked with the Oracle database and PeopleSoft ERP software for over 20 years, specialising in system performance tuning, and now works as a consultant with the Accenture Enkitec Group. He is the author of PS360, a utility that reports PeopleSoft configuration and performance metrics.  It consolidates and builds on many of the scripts that are found in his book and blogs. He is a regular speaker at UKOUG and other Oracle user group conferences, is the author of PeopleSoft for the Oracle DBA published by Apress, and blogs about PeopleSoft at blog.psftdba.com, and Oracle at blog.go-faster.co.uk.  David is also an Oracle ACE Director and a member of the Oak Table.
